# Ask AI

AI Chat is your **natural-language assistant** that lets you explore and analyze your full dataset (qual + quant) through **conversational Q\&A**. It’s built for speed and synthesis, enabling non-technical users to get quick, contextual insights without writing queries, code, or setting up filters manually.

It’s especially helpful when you want to **combine qualitative stories with supporting quantitative data** , or explore trends across data collection rounds, forms, or respondent segments.

#### 2.1 Ask Question Here

You can type your question in normal language and press enter.

After pressing enter, the system will fetch the answer from the available data.

#### 2.2 Check References

For each answer, the system will provide a set of references from the documents. You can click on the references to access the actual data source.

#### 2.3 Copy the response and Feedback

You can copy the entire response by clicking on the copy button. To give feedback, you can use thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons.

#### 2.3 Narrow down the summary using specific content type and filters

Apply the filter before you start the thread with ASK AI to see the summary from the dataset and data points that you wish to see.
